To ease chronic road congestion, the city has invested heavily in modern infrastructure, including the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, the Eastern Freeway, and the newly opened Mumbai Trans Harbor Link (Atal Setu). The Mumbai Metro is rapidly expanding, with several lines operational and many more under construction. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) handles massive domestic and international air traffic, while a second airport (Navi Mumbai International Airport) is under construction to manage overflow. Taxis (classic Kaali-Peelis) and auto-rickshaws (restricted to the suburbs) are ubiquitous.
