Over-extraction and salinity/pollution of groundwater are ongoing environmental concerns. * **Sewer:** The city lacks a comprehensive centralized sewerage system; most homes and businesses rely on septic tanks. * **Telecommunications:** Excellent cellular coverage (4G) is provided by national operators like Dialog, Mobitel, and Airtel. Fiber broadband internet is increasingly available in urban areas.
