* **Electricity:** Power is supplied by the **Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB)**. While the grid is generally reliable, seasonal droughts can occasionally lead to national power-saving measures or scheduled outages. * **Water Supply:** The **National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB)** manages piped water distribution. Tap water is purified, but boiling or filtering before drinking is generally recommended for visitors. * **Telecommunications:** Sri Lanka has excellent mobile coverage. The main providers—Dialog, SLT-Mobitel, Airtel, and Hutch—offer 4G and growing 5G coverage throughout Galle. Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) provides fiber-optic broadband. * **Waste Management:** The **Galle Municipal Council** manages solid waste collection.
