Housing in Longleng reflects a transition from traditional to modern living. In the town center, you will find modern Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) buildings, housing government quarters, commercial spaces, and wealthier residents.
However, a large portion of the housing stock consists of semi-permanent structures made with a mix of modern materials (like galvanized tin roofing) and traditional materials (bamboo, wood, and mud).
