Petty theft can occasionally occur but is swiftly handled by community leaders and local police. * **Community Policing:** The YMA heavily supplements formal law enforcement by regulating community behavior, combating drug abuse, and keeping neighborhoods safe at night. * **Inner Line Permit (ILP):** **Important for Visitors:** All domestic tourists from other parts of India require an Inner Line Permit to enter Kolasib and Mizoram.
