Neighborhoods

Mizo towns are traditionally divided into distinct neighborhoods or localities known as *Vengs*. Some prominent ones in Champhai include: * **Vengthlang:** The lower neighborhood, often bustling with local activity and close to commercial areas. * **Vengsang:** The upper neighborhood, known for steep inclines, residential quarters, and panoramic views of the valley. * **Kahrawt:** A prominent residential locality with a strong community presence and local schools. * **Zotlang:** A scenic neighborhood perched on the hills, offering some of the best vantage points of the entire Champhai valley. * **Ruantlang:** A slightly peripheral locality known for agricultural ties and traditional Mizo community life.
