Neighborhoods

Given its small size and population, Kalpeni does not have distinct urban neighborhoods like a traditional city. Instead, the island is organized into administrative wards and close-knit village clusters centered around the island's main mosques and the Panchayat offices.

* **Main Settlement Area:** Located predominantly on the wider southern and central parts of the island, housing the majority of the population, schools, and government offices. * **Cheriyam:** A narrow, uninhabited satellite island to the north, often visited by locals and tourists for day trips and picnics. * **Tillakkam and Pitti:** Tiny uninhabited islets to the south, frequently used as scenic stops for snorkeling and lagoon excursions.
