Kadmat features a tropical savanna climate, bordering on a tropical monsoon climate (Köppen classification: *Aw*/*Am*). Because of its oceanic location, temperatures remain highly uniform year-round, typically ranging between 25°C (77°F) and 35°C (95°F). Humidity is consistently high, usually hovering around 70-80%.
The weather is largely dictated by the monsoon seasons. The southwest monsoon brings heavy, frequent rainfall and high winds from late May through September, during which time the sea becomes rough and ship transportation can be heavily disrupted. A milder northeast monsoon brings occasional showers between October and November.
The best time to visit Kadmat is from October to early May, when the skies are clear, the seas are calm, and visibility for underwater activities is at its peak. Natural disasters are rare, but the island is susceptible to cyclones forming in the Arabian Sea, which can cause coastal erosion and infrastructure damage.
