* **Sea Transit:** The primary mode of transportation to and from Amini is via passenger ships operated by the Lakshadweep Administration, connecting the island to Kochi and neighboring islands. * **Air Transit:** There is no fixed-wing airport on Amini (the nearest is on Agatti Island). Pawan Hans operates a subsidized helicopter service for medical emergencies and inter-island passenger transport. * **Local Roads:** The island features a network of narrow, paved, and unpaved roads. * **Local Transport:** Because the island is so small, walking and cycling are the most common ways to get around. Motorized two-wheelers and a small number of auto-rickshaws are also used. There are no large buses or trains.
