Neighborhoods

Unlike large urban centers, Amini does not have distinct named neighborhoods or suburbs. The entire island functions as a single, contiguous village settlement.

For administrative purposes, the island is divided into **Panchayat Wards**. Homes are generally organized along narrow, winding sandy pathways that connect the residential areas to the local mosques, the hospital, and the jetty. Community life is deeply integrated, with the ward system serving mostly for electoral and civic planning rather than defining distinct cultural or socioeconomic divisions.
