Transportation to and from Agatti relies on two main arteries: air and sea. The **Agatti Aerodrome (AGX)** features a narrow, scenic runway that spans the southern tip of the island, accommodating ATR aircraft. Alliance Air operates daily flights connecting Agatti to Kochi (Cochin) in Kerala. Sea transit is facilitated by passenger ships and ferries operated by the Lakshadweep Administration, linking Agatti to Kochi, Mangalore, and other islands in the archipelago.
On the island itself, there are no highways or public transit networks like buses or trains. The road infrastructure consists of a network of narrow, paved lanes. Locals travel primarily using bicycles, two-wheelers (scooters and motorcycles), and auto-rickshaws. Because the island is so small, walking is a very common and practical way to get around.
