Local media infrastructure is virtually nonexistent. Residents rely on regional media based in Leh, such as *Reach Ladakh* and *Daily Excelsior*, as well as national broadcasters like All India Radio (Leh station) and Doordarshan. Mobile connectivity (largely provided by BSNL and Jio) has recently improved, granting locals access to digital media, news, and messaging platforms.
