Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, located just south of the city in Mohali, serves domestic routes and select international destinations. Chandigarh Railway Station connects the city to major Indian metropolises via fast trains like the Shatabdi Express and Vande Bharat.
Chandigarh is exceptionally pedestrian and cyclist-friendly by Indian standards, featuring an expanding network of dedicated cycling tracks woven through the city's green belts. EV charging infrastructure is also being rapidly deployed as part of the city's "Smart City" green mobility initiative.
