Topography

Silvassa's topography is primarily flat and undulating, lying in the floodplain of the Daman Ganga River. The city itself sits at a low elevation of approximately 32 meters (105 feet) above sea level.

Moving away from the city center, the terrain gradually gives way to rolling hills and plateaus as one approaches the foothills of the Western Ghats. The surrounding district features a mix of broad river valleys and forested highlands, providing a stark topographical contrast to the relatively level urban core of the city.
