Infrastructure

Bhilai's infrastructure is a mix of industrial robustness and modern urban expansion. Electricity in the township is heavily subsidized and highly reliable, managed through a mix of captive power from the NSPCL (NTPC-SAIL Power Company) and the state grid (CSPDCL).

Water supply is meticulously managed; the Township relies on the Maroda reservoir system treated by BSP, while non-township areas are supplied by municipal overhead tanks drawing from the Shivnath River. Telecom infrastructure is strong, with 4G/5G cellular networks and high-speed fiber broadband readily available from major providers like Jio, Airtel, and BSNL. The city also features excellent healthcare infrastructure, anchored by the massive JLN Hospital and Research Center.
