The economy of the Rock Garden is entirely driven by domestic and international tourism. As one of the most prominent attractions in Northern India, it generates substantial revenue for the Chandigarh Administration through daily ticket sales, guided tours, and on-site souvenir concessions. This revenue is reinvested into the maintenance of the garden's extensive water pumps, structural repairs, and the salaries of the caretakers and artisans who maintain the site.
