Topography

The topography of Manimajra is generally flat, with a slight, gradual elevation increasing towards the north and east as it approaches the Shivalik foothills. The highest points are located near the northeastern borders facing Panchkula and the hills, while the lower plains stretch southward toward central Chandigarh. The land is largely devoid of natural water bodies within the town itself, though seasonal drainage channels carved by monsoon runoff (choes) historically characterized the surrounding terrain before modern urban channeling.
