Ziro is widely regarded as a very safe destination for both domestic and international travelers. The local Apatani community is known for its hospitality and peaceful nature.

Traveling without these is illegal. * **Monsoon Travel:** Landslides are common during the monsoon season (June to September). Check road conditions before traveling. * **Cultural Respect:** Always ask for permission before photographing local tribespeople, particularly the elderly Apatani women with facial tattoos.
