Food in Khonsa reflects the rich culinary traditions of Arunachal Pradesh and the local Nocte tribe. The cuisine relies heavily on bamboo shoots, smoked meats (especially pork), fermented soybeans, and leafy greens, usually served with rice. Traditional rice beer (*Apong* or *Ju*) is a staple of local hospitality. While there are no large international restaurant chains, the town features several local diners, tea stalls, and small eateries serving authentic Arunachali, Assamese, and Indo-Chinese food.
