Religion

The religious landscape of Khonsa is diverse and reflective of the region's history. A significant portion of the population practices Christianity (primarily Baptist and Catholic denominations). There is also a strong adherence to indigenous belief systems, most notably Animism and the Rangfrah movement, which emphasize the worship of nature and ancestral spirits. Smaller communities of Hindus and Buddhists also reside in the town.
