The housing market in Itanagar is a mix of traditional and modern architecture. Due to the continuous influx of government employees, students, and workers from other districts, there is a high demand for rental housing. Property values and rental costs in prime areas like Bank Tinali and Zero Point are relatively high compared to the rest of the state. Affordable housing remains a challenge due to the limited availability of flat land for large-scale residential development.
