Water supply is managed by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), which sources and treats water from pristine local mountain streams and the Subansiri River.
Telecommunications have improved significantly in recent years. Major cellular networks such as BSNL, Airtel, and Jio operate in the town, providing mobile connectivity and 4G internet. However, broadband penetration remains limited, and mobile network reliability can fluctuate due to the mountainous terrain and heavy cloud cover.
