### Public Utilities
Bomdila’s utility infrastructure is managed by state government departments, adapted to the challenging mountainous terrain.
* **Electricity:** Supplied and maintained by the Department of Power, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Power outages can occur, particularly during severe monsoon weather or heavy winter snow. * **Water Supply:** Managed by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). Water is predominantly sourced from mountain streams and natural springs, treated and distributed to the town. * **Gas:** Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders are the primary source of cooking fuel, supplied through local Bharat Gas or Indane distributors. * **Waste Management:** Overseen by the District Administration and Urban Development Agency. Waste collection exists, but the town is actively working on improving solid waste management and recycling initiatives in the hilly terrain.
