* **Infrastructure:** Major road widening and all-weather road projects are being executed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) to improve connectivity to Tawang and Assam. * **Tourism Development:** The state government is actively investing in eco-tourism, homestay circuits, and upgrading tourist amenities in Bomdila to encourage tourists to stay rather than just passing through to Tawang. * **Sela Tunnel Impact:** The recently completed Sela Tunnel on the way to Tawang ensures all-weather connectivity, which is expected to drastically increase the flow of trade, military, and tourist traffic through Bomdila. * **Smart Urban Local Bodies:** Efforts are underway to digitize district administration services and improve urban infrastructure, including better drainage and street lighting.
