Aalo's infrastructure has seen steady improvement in recent years. Electricity is supplied by the state grid, frequently supplemented by localized micro-hydel projects and diesel generators to manage occasional power cuts. Piped drinking water is sourced from local mountain streams and rivers, though purification before consumption is recommended.
Telecommunications have improved significantly, with major providers like BSNL, Airtel, and Jio offering 4G cellular and mobile broadband services. However, internet stability can still be impacted by extreme weather and landslides that damage optical fiber cables. Basic municipal services manage waste and sanitation, though large-scale modern sewage treatment systems are still in developmental phases.
